I just recently traveled to Maine.
Now, I live in NH so you may think it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump for me, but Maine is HUGE. It’s practically Canada. From Central NH to coastal Ellsworth/Lamoine is 4.5 hours…..when I lived in the mountains of Colorado, I could have been half way to Vegas, but I digress.
This past weekend was Health Choice Maine’s annual Fall Retreat: Find Your Light. about 100 people gathered with a common focus: health freedom. I was grateful to be among some of the truth warriors in this fight, and so honored to have been asked to present at the retreat and represent the plants in this conversation which honestly, is about time.
Since the Plandemic began, I have been shouting from the rooftops about plant (and mushroom) medicine. As everyone was reaching for black market drugs, I was educating and dolling out formulas to keep people out of the hospital. Looking on a few other herbal websites you will always see a disclaimer “herbs have not been proven to work and not endorsed for use by the FDA….blah blah blah.” See, we have to say that in the herbal world bc our overlords at the FDA would rather spend their time propping up the pHARMA-ceudical companies, rather than look at research on plants and mushrooms. (and there IS science btw) I mean, why would they since there are no herbal companies lobbying nor giving them $$ and marketing a product. (cue: “money makes the world go around, the world go around….) These interventions, used traditionally for THOUSANDS of years, have no basis in science they say. Science-based medicine is a double edged sword and when you got the VID and needed help, you were shit out of luck.
But, in reality, you weren’t SOL. I was quick to start formulating, getting to know as much as I could abut this virus (not that novel btw) and used tried and true herbal medicine to support immune function, kill the virus, support the lungs, and in general give people tools which gives people hope, which in turn gives people LESS FEAR. (and made them well too)
My talk this past weekend was about backyard medicine. I talked for over an hour on Saturday about plants we could see as we casually strolled around the field: plantain, St. Johnswort, Goldenrod, Dandelion, White Pine, Self-heal, Yarrow, Red Raspberry, Strawberry leaf……and I’m sure there was more. We have, as a society, been conditioned to believe that this medicine: The People’s Medicine, isn’t strong enough. It’s nice and all, but does it work?? YES. It works. I talked on Sunday for over an hour about more medicine and about Resiliency and removing ourselves from these systems: namely the healthcare system, as much as possible. This isn’t anarchy, this is survival.
Being able to meet some of the other warriors in this fight was an honor and a privilege. (Dr. Meryl Nass, Justine Tanguay Esq., Jennifer Margulis, Susan Wadia-Ells, Josh Coleman, and many others)
After my talk on Sunday, later on I realized I didn’t show the last slide. The audience knew my last slide to be two pictures of my dogs:
Daisy and Gabriel.
Which is a great ending IMO…..I used them to convey the need to find joy in our lives by doing the things we love and surrounding our daily lives with those things: an important aspect of being human and integral in keeping your cup full for what is to come, but the very last slide was this:
This was supposed to (also) be my take-away message. Knowledge is power and fear drives dependency (and makes many susceptible to peer-pressure). Let us not replace one crazy system with another crazy system as we go forward, and let us not be dependent upon a hierarchical structure that is based upon money and power (and IMO depopulation at this point) that doesn’t care about your well-being, doesn’t care about whether you have a job or not, and doesn’t care about your ability to buy food.
It’s time to opt out as much as we can from these systems that no longer serve us and gain back control over our own lives, which proffers independence, strengthens local communities, and supports quality of life. Talk to your neighbors and buddy up to a farmer, and an herbalist. Learn how to grow food, learn the plants around you and use them to stay healthy; don’t let the ’powers that be’ divide us. Remove false paradigms (like blue vs red) and love each other. It’s empowering. It’s freeing. It’s essential…..just like you.

So glad you got a chance to give this talk. Ever since I was red-pilled in early 2020 I've kept talking about THE PLANTS, that have been used for millennia. It drove me nuts that people were so disconnected from nature and disempowered that they were afraid to use the weeds in their own back yard. All the clamoring about Ivermectin and Hydroxychoroquine - could they have saved lives if they were available? Yes, but hell, they're PHARMACEUTICALS! Anti-parasitical/anti-malarial, let's see, Sweet Annie anyone? Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years (Qing Hao, https://www.medicinetraditions.com/artemisia-annua-qing-hao.html). I wrote to all the "front-line doctors" about it and Andrographis, never got a response. Recently there was a mention of "maybe artemisinin" in one of the substacks I follow. An isolate. There's even an old WHO monograph acknowledging that the whole plant is more effective than the isolate.
I was invited to speak to a group of Health Freedom NH folks and talked to them about White Pine tea. Some still come into the store where I work and tell me how it has helped them and their families. Now, thanks to a dedicated effort by freedom-loving legislators, you can get Ivermectin in New Hampshire. (See below.) No thanks, but be my guest.
HB1466 2022, Off-label Use of Prescription Drugs; When Permitted. The state of New Hampshire confirms its strong support for shared decision making between healthcare professionals and their patients. A licensee may lawfully prescribe an FDA approved drug product for an off-label indication where there is sound scientific medical evidence or when the licensee has provided and documented informed consent for the patient including a disclosure that a prescription is for an off-label indication. The standardized form for informed consent shall be approved by the board of medicine. A licensee shall be held to the same standard of care as when prescribing for on-label indications.
4 New Section; Pharmacists and Pharmacies; Prescriptions. Amend RSA 318 by inserting after section 13 the following new section:
318:13-a Filling of Prescriptions. No licensed pharmacist shall face non-disciplinary or disciplinary action by the pharmacy board for filling a valid prescription for an off-label use.
